At our Practical Planned Giving Conference in Orlando, Charles Schultz presented the 2012 GiftLegacy Award winners. The Best GiftLegacy Website Award was presented to David Moore at Chapman University. Chapman’s planned giving website chapmanlegacy.org features great branding with campus photos, an engaging mission video, social media feeding live to their Heritage Society page, custom donor stories and free workshops.
Best GiftLegacy Literature Award went to Jim Argue and Janet Marshall at The United Methodist Foundation of Arkansas for their outstanding marketing materials and successful bequest marketing campaigns. Gary Martin at Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association (AOPA) accepted the Best Mission Video Award. You can view their mission video with embedded video clips of aircraft at aopa.giftlegacy.com. Also, Honorable Mention in the Mission Video category went to Ducks Unlimited ducksgift.org and Henry County Hospital Foundation hchf.giftlegacy.com.
The top GiftLegacy award for eMarketer of the Year 2012 was presented to Larry Smith, Assistant Vice President of Gift Planning at Baylor University. Larry has used Crescendo’s GiftLegacy marketing system for planned giving since 2009 and in the past two fiscal years he has documented 59 new planned gifts for approximately $18.7 million and 61 estate distributions of $20.4 million.
