the filing deadline for filing 1099-R forms approaches, we wanted to remind you
of some helpful filing information we have made available to you. To access our
2013 End of Year Checklist, Crescendo Admin 1099-R tutorials and step-by-step
instructions for electronically filing 1099-R’s, visit www.cresmanager.com. After signing up for
a free user-account, click on “Tutorials” on the left hand side of your screen
and select “Crescendo Admin Software.”
Remember,
1099-R forms need to be sent to your annuitants by January 31, 2014 and to the
IRS by February 28, 2014. If you are filing online using the IRS electronic
filing system, then your due date is extended to March 31, 2014. The 1099-R
forms can be ordered directly from the IRS at 800-829-3676 or from other tax
form vendors.
